June is a month for reflection. Even if you are schooling year-round, take a few days to think back about the changes you have seen in your children this past year. What inspired them to be creative? How did their learning show up in their play? What skills did they acquire that will help them in a future career?  And my favorite question – What character traits showed up in a big way this year?

The answers to these questions cannot be measured or graded, but they can be celebrated! Praise your children and point out their new skills. Children thrive on positive praise! Truth be told, parents do, too. 😉
